Do you make deer drives? Are they successful?

When our land was hunted by paid hunters we did. People were successful at it but you can never make a deer go where you want it to. I find a slow mosey through the marsh (middle of our land) to keep them moving is best because the driver may see a deer too. It is important to make sure that other hunters know where you are going to be. If making a traditional drive, it is good to make some sound such as whistling. Drives are good for young hunters to do when they are the pushers (I would rather have a calm experienced hunter shooting than an excited teenager). It is more conducive for a safe hunt. **DON'T DO A DRIVE OPENING DAY** Why mess up the hunting area and screw around when deer are still in their natural movement pattern?? I have heard that some hunting camps do this (makes me laugh).
